Advertise Your Yard Sale: Flyers
Forgo the cost of a newspaper ad and let the locals know about your sale.
In addition to newspapers, you can also advertise your sale by putting up flyers around the area. Popular spots include telephone poles, local event bulletin boards at businesses or stores. Make sure you are aware of any local restrictions when it comes to putting up yard sale signs, and that you remove the signs after the sale is over.
