Fix Air Conditioning Exhaust
Often overlooked when self-servicing an air conditioner, the fins at the back of the unit need attention too.
If the soft metal fins around the exhaust end of the air conditioning unit are banged up or crooked, you could be affecting the unit’s ability to get rid of heat, which can make it run poorly. You can easily straighten out the fins by using a standard hair comb, and pulling it through them. Make sure you wear gloves just in case, though, for those fins can be pretty sharp.
