DIY Air Conditioner Filter

Don’t have an air conditioner filter on hand to replace one that’s seen better days? Try this substitute.

If you have any polyester batting tucked away in a craft closet, this can make an inexpensive air conditioning filter replacement. Just cut it to size using the old filter as a guide and slip it into place. With a clean filter in place, your air conditioning unit won’t have to work as hard to draw air into it.
