Carpooling = Insurance Breaks?

One more possible money saving credit for carpooling could come from your insurance agency.Since insurance agencies charge premiums based partially on the number of miles you use your vehicle, if you cut that number substantially by carpooling with coworkers you may be able to cut what you pay on car insurance premiums. Figure out how many miles a year you’ll be driving your vehicle total now that you’re carpooling, then contact your auto insurance representative to see if you should be paying less for coverage.
