The Proper Way To Cover TV’s and Monitors

To keep dust at bay, avoid the expensive plastic covers and try this.

Old pillowcases or sheets are not only a cheaper way to cut down on dust when it comes to TV’s and computer monitors, they are also more effective than plastic covers. Because of the electricity and heat they generate, TV’s and monitors attract a large amount of dust. If you cover them with plastic, the heat won’t be able to dissipate, causing more static electricity to build up. With cloth, the electronics will be able to breath more easily. Plus you can use an anti-static spray on the cloth covers to really cut down on dust.
