Warranties Don’t Limit Who Can Work On Your Car

Read the find print…While the dealership where you bought your car might seem to imply that only they can handle such things as oil changes and tune-ups on your vehicle, you are not bound by the agreement to get such minor things done specifically with them. Both can usually be done much more cheaply at garages specializing in such things (or do the oil change yourself to really save some money).

Things like oil changes are fine, but anything requiring a part replacement, definitely check your dealership/warantee first. Dealerships I’ve dealt with the past are generally real a-holes when it comes to warantees and will void them at the drop of a hat.
