Frozen Fruit Treats

These make an excellent, nutritious snack for kids!Freezing grapes or bananas is an excellent way to provide your kids with healthy, chilly snacks that they can eat year round. Think popsicles, without all the sugar.

For frozen grapes, wash, drain and separate them, then line them on a cookie sheet and pop them into the freezer. When frozen, store them in a freezer bag and serve frozen.

For frozen bananas, peel and slice them in half cross-wise. Insert a skewer or popsicle stick into one end, line a cookie sheet with them and freeze them. Store in a freezer bag and serve frozen. For an added nutritional boost, try rolling the bananas in wheat germ before freezing.
