Know when to shut off the car to save the most in gas.It’s a simple rule: if you’re sitting someplace for over a minute, shut the car off. You’ll spend less starting it back up than you’d spend leaving it running. This doesn’t apply to stop lights or other situations where shutting down your vehicle could be a safety hazard.
