Plan Out Your Yard Sale Route
Save yourself some gas by mapping out your route before you go.With gas being as expensive as it is, it’s foolish to start criss-crossing around town trying to hit every sale on your list. Sit down with a map (or download one from Mapquest.com) and your classifieds section/sale list and mark all the sales you want to hit. Make a special note of those sales that list items you are particularly interested in. Now line up a route that will save you the most in gas, taking note of your special sales and trying to include them towards the start of the list.
There’s no sense spending more on gas than you save on sales!
