Check Your Tires For Wear

The penny-pinchers perfect solution to checking car tire wear. And it starts with a simple penny. Take the penny and insert it into the tread of one of your tires, making sure that Abe’s head is down towards the tire. Take a look at the penny. If you can see any part of Abe’s head sticking out of the tire, the tread is past the point of allowable wear and should be replaced.
