The Home Inspector, Your Best Friend

When buying a house, home inspectors are indespensible. One thing you do not want to neglect when buying a house: a house inspection. We’ve worked with an inspector on the last two houses we put bids on (we actually bought the last one), and he was well worth the $300-400 dollars we paid. Not only will an inspector alert you to major problems that will affect your ultimate offer, but he or she will also give you a heads-up on areas you may need to concentrate on five, ten or even more years into the future. Bottom line: a home inspection will give you a very clear snapshot of the health of your house at the moment of sale.
