Stock Up on Skiing Equipment, The Frugal Way

Have you priced skis lately? Hailing from Vermont, we know our skis, and trust us, if you buy new, you’re going to be paying top dollar for name-brand skis. But there may be a way to save…If you’re fortunate enough to live near a ski area(s), give their rental shop a call and find out if they ever have sell equipment they’re looking to replace. Ski rentals are a lot like car rentals, in that the product must look good and have low miles, so to speak. As such, they have a fairly significant turn-over time, and all those old skis need to go somewhere.
