Cabbage and Bratwurst

Honey-mustard dressing gives this dish a nice taste.

  • links bratwurst sausage
  • 1 medium head cabbage, coarsely shredded
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/2 cup creamy honey-mustard dressing
  • 1/4 cup applesauce or apple cider
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons caraway seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • salt and pepper to taste

Brown the sausage in a skillet with a little oil, drain, then cut into bite-size pieces. Add the sausage and all other ingredients to the crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
