Crockpot Kielbasa

A great way to cook kielbasa. Serve this over pasta with Parmesan cheese.

  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 pound kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced about 1/2-inch thick
  • 1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cups frozen French-style green beans
  • 1 can whole ripe olives, about 6 ounces, drained
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced into separate rings
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Brown off the beef, then add it and all other ingredients into the crockpot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
