Pot Roast

This beef crock pot roast uses sour cream to make a creamy sauce.

  • 4 to 5 pound lean chuck roast
  • 1 clove garlic, mashed
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large carrot, chopped
  • 1 rib celery, chopped
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 3/4 c. sour cream mixed with 3 Tbs. flour and 1/2 cup dry white wine

Season the roast with garlic, salt and pepper. Place it in the crockpot and add the vegetables over it. Cook on low for 10-12 hours, adding the sour cream mixture in the last half an hour.
