Spiced Pork and Peaches

The combination of peaches, pork and spices make this an interesting meal.

 

1 (29 ounce) can peach halves, drained

5 bone-in pork loin chops (1 inch thick)

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce

1/4 cup cider vinegar

 

Salt and pepper chops and brown in a skillet with the vegetable oil. Add to the crockpot with the rest of the ingredients and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
