Starting Plants From Seeds A Plus

For real gardenters, the only true way to start a plant. 🙂Starting plants and flowers from seeds will save you an enormous amount of money over buying nursery plants and give you something to do in the dwindling months of winter and early spring when the urge to garden starts to stray into withdrawal territory. You can save even more by getting together with a friend or neighbor and splitting the cost of the seeds. Usually a packet will contain many more seeds than you could reasonably use in two or three seasons! This is also a great way to experiment with a wide variety of plant types — the selection of seeds available to you will be much vaster than the selection of plants a nursery will offer.
