Stewed Fruit

Breath life into dried fruits via the crockpot.

  • 16 ounces prunes, pitted
  • 8 ounces dried apricots
  • 8 ounces dried pears
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Combine all ingredients and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
